Species Temorites regalis - Plate 1 of morphological figuresissued from : G.D. Grice & K. Huisemann in Proc. U.S. natn. Mus., 1967, 122 (3583). [p.65, Figs.275-280]. As Bathypontia regalis.

Distribution map of Temorites regalis by geographical zones
Loc:

N: 1

Rem.: Bathypelagic.
For Grice & Hulsemann (1967, p.39) this species resembles the male of Isosalanus major Wolfenden (1906, 1911), but the small size and the inflated and pubescent 2nd segment of the left P5 will distinguish it from Bathypontia major (= Temorites elongata).
