| | | | | | Ref.: | | | Grice & Hulsemann, 1965 (p.225, 251, figs.F,M); 1967 (p.19); Wheeler, 1970 (p.13, figs.F); Mauchline, 1998 (p.66); Bradford-Grieve, 1999 b (p.21, Rem.); Vives & Shmeleva, 2007 (p.396, figs.F,M, Rem.); Andronov, 2014 (p.33, fig.M) | issued from : G.D. Grice & K. Hulsemann in J. Zool., 1965, 146. [p.252, Fig.20]. Female: a, habitus (lateral right side); b, urosome (ventral); c, A1; d, A2; e, Md (mandibular palp); f, Md (cutting edge); g, Mx1; h, Mx2. Nota: Head and 1st thoracic segment separate, 4th and 5th fused. A1 (24-segmented) reaches to about anal segment. Mx1 with 2nd and 3rd inner lobes, endopod and outer lobe devoid of setae.

issued from : G.D. Grice & K. Hulsemann in J. Zool., 1965, 146. [p.253, Fig.21]. Female: a, Mxp; b, P1; c, P2; d, P4; e, P5. Male: f, habitus (dorsal; g, posterior part of metasome and urosome (lateral left side); h, right A1; i, P5. Nota: Head and 1st thoracic segment separate, 4th and 5th fused. Right A1 (20-segmented), segment 12 invaginated, 16-17 with spinules.

Issued from : E.H. Wheeler, Jr in Smiths. Contr. Zool., 1970, 55. [p.30, Fig.96]. Female (o.56 mm) (from near Puerto Rico): 96, posterior portion of cephalothorax, P5 and urosome.

Issued from : E.H. Wheeler, Jr in Smiths. Contr. Zool., 1970, 55. [p.30, Fig.994-95]. Female (0.64 mm) (from near Puerto Rico): 94, habitus (dorso-lateral); 95, P5. Nota: A large female (0.64 mm) differs from the original diagnosis of the species in that the distal segment of P5 has 2 terminal spines in addition to one on the inner lateral margin near the midpoint of the segment. The second female (0.56 mm) conforms to to the original description of Grice & Hulsemann.

Issued from : V.N. Andronov in Russian Acad. Sci. P.P. Shirshov Inst. Oceanol. Atlantic Branch, Kaliningrad, 2014. [p.33, fig.6]. Temorites discoveryae : 6, geniculate A1 male.

| | | | | | Loc: | | | W Canary Is., off S Bermuda, E Caribbean, Caribbean Sea, W Indian | | | N: | 5 | | | Lg.: | | | (203) F: 0,56; 0,64; (226) F: 0,65-0,57; M: 0,64; {F: 0,56-0,65} | | | Rem.: | bathy-abyssopelagic. According to Bradford-Grieve (1999 b, p.21) the maintenance in this genus is doubtful, because of further reductions in setation of Mx1, the fusion of pedigerous segments 4 and 5, P1 with a 2-segmented exopod and P1-P3 with a 1-segmented endopod, P4 with 2-segmented endopod. | | | Last update : 18/04/2016 | |
