Espèce Scottocalanus longispinus - Planche 1 de figures morphologiquesissued from : Mulyadi in The Raffles Bull. Zool., 1998, 46 (2). [p.386, Fig.3].
Female: a, habitus (dorsal); b, forehead (left lateral side); c, last thoracic segment and urosome ( left lateral side); d, rostrum (frontal view); e, A1; f, P4; g, P5.

Espèce Scottocalanus longispinus - Planche 2 de figures morphologiquesissued from : Mulyadi in The Raffles Bull. Zool., 1998, 46 (2). [p.387, Fig.4].
Female: a, P1; b, P2; c, P3; d, P4.

Espèce Scottocalanus longispinus - Planche 3 de figures morphologiquesissued from : A. Scott in Siboga-Expedition, 1909, XIX a. [Plate XXV, Figs.10-18].
Female (from Halmahera Sea): 10, habitus (dorsal); 11, forehead (lateral); 12, last thoracic and genital segments (left side); 13, rostrum; 14, A1; 15, Mx2 (distal portion); 16, P2; 17, P4; 18, P5.

Espèce Scottocalanus longispinus - Planche 4 de figures morphologiquesissued from : O. Tanaka in Publ. Seto Mar. Biol. Lab., 1961, IX (1). [p.143, Fig.107]. As Scottcalanus helenae. With doubt.
Female: a, forehead (lateral); b-c, last thoracic segment and urosome (lateral and dorsal, respectively); d, rostrum (frontal view); e, P2; f, P5.
Lengths of the rostral spines shorter than half the depth of the excavation. Urosome 4-segmented; abdominal segments and caudal ramus in the proportional lengths 46 : 20 : 11 : 6 : 17 = 100. Genital segment cylindrical in dorsal view, about 2 times as long as wide; ventral surface produced below with a process on the proximal part near the genital orifice (in lateral view). Caudal rami about as long as wide (15:14). A1 24-segmented, extends to the distal margin of the anal segment; segments 8-9 partially fused with the segment 10; segments 24 and 25 well separated. Exopod of A2 1.4 times as long as the endopod (37:26). Oral appendages, swimming legs as those of S. securifronssecurifrons. P5 2-segmented, reache back to the distal margin of the 2nd urosomal segment; subapical spine about 3 times the length of the 2nd segment, and is furnished with two rather coarse spines; the basal part of the spine is swollen; the apical spine is short and fine, slightly curved outwardly.

Male Probably in synonymy with S. terranovae: g, forehead (lateral); h, last thoracic segment (lateral, left side); i, P5; j, distal segment of left P5.
Last thoracic segment rather broadly rounded; the ventral margin of the segment much inflated (in lateral side). Urosome 5-segmented; abdominal segments and caudal rami in proportional lengths 18 :24 : 23 : 21 ; 7 : 7 = 100; the distal margin of the 2nd to 4th segments are fringed with fine teeth. A1 extends to the middle of the 4th urosomal segment. mouth parts and P1 to P4 as those of the female; the serration on the terminal spine of the exopod of the 2nd to P4 are more in number than those of the corresponding legs of the female. The 3rd segment of the exopod of the left leg is represented by 2 curved stout spines, a pad of stiff hairs, and a leaf-like lamellous process with serrations on the distal end (fig.j).
