The year is that of the publication in which the species was described and not that of the thesis of the author (1956).
According to Fleminger (1957, p.25) the similarity between P. lobiancoi (Canu) and P. polydactyla compels reconsideration of the former's records from the Gulf of Mexico and the western Atlantic reported by C.B. Wilson (1932, 1942, 1950) and by King (1950).
