Pseudocyclops magnus  Esterly, 1911   (F,M)
Syn.: no Pseudocyclops latens Gurney, 1927 d (p.455, figs.F)
Ref.:
Esterly, 1911 b (p.223, Descr.F, figs.F); Sewell, 1948 (p.465); Vervoort, 1964 a (p.12, 14, Rem.); Yeatman, 1975 (p.2, Redescr.F, Descr.M, figs.F,M); Dawson, 1977 (p.247); Othman & Greenwood, 1989 (p.75)
Species Pseudocyclops magnus - Plate 1 of morphological figuresissued from : H.C. Yeatman in J. Tennessee Acad. Sci., 1975, 50, 1. [p.3, Pl.1].
Female (from St. Lawrence: Barbados): 1, habitus (dorsal); 3, rostrum (ventral view); 4, urosome (ventral); 5, caudal ramus (with abnormal seta); 6, A1; 7, A2; 8, P1; 9, P2; 10, P3; 11, P4; 12, P5.
Nota: Head and 1st pediger segment not fused (but the separation joint is not a distinct as the other body joints). Rostrum with 2 tiny setae. A1 17-segmented. Caudal rami about as long as broad or in some specimens broader than long. In one specimen, the longest caudal seta is modified into a paddle-shaped appendage.. A2 with basipod 1-segmented, exopod 2-segmented, endopod 3-segmented.

Male: 2, habitus (dorsal); 13, P5 (posterior view); 15, P5 (posterior view with spines and claws removed); 16, P5 (anterior view).
Nota: In some specimens the joint separating the head from the 1st pediger segment is difficult to see.. Left A1 like those of the female and the right one is geniculate.

Species Pseudocyclops magnus - Plate 2 of morphological figuresissued from : C.O. Esterly in Proc. Am. Acad. Arts Sci., 1911, 47 (7). [Pl.1, Figs.6, 8].
Female (from Bermuda Is.): 6, last two thoracic segments and urosome (lateral); 8, forehead (lateral).

Species Pseudocyclops magnus - Plate 3 of morphological figuresissued from : C.O. Esterly in Proc. Am. Acad. Arts Sci., 1911, 47 (7). [Pl.3, Fig.23].
Female: 23, A1.

Species Pseudocyclops magnus - Plate 4 of morphological figuresissued from : C.O. Esterly in Proc. Am. Acad. Arts Sci., 1911, 47 (7). [Pl.4, Fig.41].
Female: 41, P5.
