Pseudochirella bilobata  Vervoort, 1949   (F)
Ref.:
Vervoort, 1949 (p.38, Descr.F, figs.F); Bradford & Jillett, 1980 (p.66); Markhaseva, 1989 (p.39); 1996 (p.258, figs.F)
Species Pseudochirella bilobata - Plate 1 of morphological figuresIssued from : W. Vervoort in Zool. Verh., Leiden, 1949, 5. [p. 39, Fig.18].
Female (from Flores Sea): a, forehead (lateral); b, distal thoracic segments and urosome (dorsal); c, idem (lateral right side); d, idem (left side).

Nota: The length of the urosome is contained 3.42 times in that of the anterior portion of the body. Head and 1st thoracic segment, 4th and 5th separated. The abdominal segments and furca in the proportional lengths 43:21:16:6:14 = 100. A1 (24-free segments) reaches the distal margin of the 1st urosomal segment. A2: endopod much shorter than in other species, nearly 2/5 the length of the exopod.

Species Pseudochirella bilobata - Plate 2 of morphological figuresIssued from : E.L. Markhaseva in USSR Acad. Sci., Zool. Inst., Explor. Fauna Seas. Marine Plankton, 1989, 41 (49). [p.53, Fig.19].
Female: Thoracic segment 5 and genital segment.
Nota from the key:
1 - Genital segment strongly asymmetrical.
2 - Both left and right thoracic posterior corners without spines.
3 - Thoracic posterior corners triangular shape (lateral view).
4 - Segment genital with protuberance in its posterior part.

Complement female after Markhaseva (1996, p.258): Cephalothorax 3.4 times longer than urosome.
Posterior corners of last thoracic segment ptolonged into triangular lobes (lateral view).
Genital segment dlightly asymmetrical, with lateral projections of different shape and size on the right and on the left posteriorly (dorsal view); ventral swelling strongly protruded (lateral view).
A1 reaching posterior border of genital segment.
Exopodite of P1 clearly 3-segmented.
Coxopodite of P4 with 14 spines.
