Female (23°19'S43°34'E): 1- 2a, habitus (dorsal and lateral, respectively); 2b, eggs; 3, urosome (ventral; caudal setae omitted on the left ramus; 4, P5.

Nota: Rostrum with 2 filaments.
Ratio prosome/urosome = 3.3.
Last thoracic segment with short teeth on the posterior border, in lateral view.
Genital segment characteristic with in lateral view a pointed process directed ventrally. Genital segment slightly asymmetrical with two brownish swellings beside of genital pore.
Caudal rami twice longer than broad.
A1 does not reach the end of cephalothorax.
P1 to P4 similar to P. buchani and P. similis

Male: 5, posterior part cephalothorax and urosome (dorsal); 4, P5.
Nota: Left A1 geniculate (articulation between segments 17 and 18 as in P. buchani.

After Deevey (1973, p.249): Female: A1 short, not as long as cephalothorax. Genital segment with asymmetrically placed ventral prolongation. Caudal rami twice as long as wide. Male: Right A1 less than cephalothorax length.
