Ref.:
Soh & al., 1999 (p.1590, Redescr.F, figs.F, fig.12: chart, phylogenetic relationships); Boxshall & Halsey, 2004 (p.150); Vives & Shmeleva, 2007 (p.391, figs.F,M, Rem.)
Espèce Nullosetigera mutica - Planche 1 de figures morphologiquesissued from : G.D. Grice & K. Huisemann in Proc. U.S. natn. Mus., 1967, 122 (3583). [p.64, Figs.266-269; p.65, Fig.270]. As Phyllopus muticus.
Female (from 22°06'S, 64°55'E): 266, habitus (lateral left side); 267, Mx1; 268, Mx2; 269, P5; 270, habitus (dorsal).

Espèce Nullosetigera mutica - Planche 2 de figures morphologiquesIssued from : G.O. Sars in Résult. Camp. Scient. Prince Albert I, 69, pls.1-127 (1924). [Pl.CXXIV, figs.10-16]. As Phyllopus muticus.
Female: 10, habitus (dirsal); 11, labrum; 12, labiul; 13, Md (masticatory edge); 14, Mx2; 15, P5; 16, anal segment and caudal rami.

Espèce Nullosetigera mutica - Planche 3 de figures morphologiquesissued from : R.B.S. Sewell in The John Murray Expedition, 1933-34, Scientific Reports, VIII (1), 1947. [p.238, Fig.64]. As Phyllopus muticus.
Male (from N Arabian Sea): A, habitus (lateral right side); B, left A1; C, proximal segments of right A1; D, A2; E, Md; F, Mx1; G, Mx2; H, P1; I, P3; J, P5.

Nota: The proportional lengths of the cephalothorax and abdomen as 63 to 37. The proportional lengths of the various segments of the body (cephalon to caudal rami) as 290:113:68:68:100:65:64:61:55:55:61 = 1000. The body is plentifully provided with the openings of numerous cutaneous glands, the first comparatively large multicellular glands that open by large apertures, the esond, small glands composed of only one or two cells, that open by small pores. A1 not reaching as faf as the posterior thoracic margin. Right 24-segmented (segmets 24-25 fused), grasping with the 1 st and 2 nd segments fused, 21-23 fused, and 24-25 fused respectively. In A2 a gland opens on the inner side of the 2nd basal segment near the origin of the marginal setae; and a smaller apertureis situated about the middle of the length of the 1st endopodal segment opposite the origin of the two marginal setae arising from that segment. In Md the biting blade agrees exactly with that of the female as figured by Sars. The maxillae and Mxp agree with those of the female. In P1 a gland opens on the 3rd segment of the exopod near the origin of the 1st marginal spine, and a similar gland opens on the 3rd segment of the endopod; P2 to P4 are plentfully supplied with glands.

Espèce Nullosetigera mutica - Planche 4 de figures morphologiquesissued from : R.B.S. Sewell in The John Murray Expedition, 1933-34, Scientific Reports, VIII (1), 1947. [p.166, Fig.44, E]. As Phyllopus muticus.
Process on the posterior aspect of the 2nd basal segment of P1.
Remarks: The shape of the hook-like or spine-like process shows some variation in different genera, but it is undoubtedly homologous throughout the whole series. The function of this organ is unknown.

Espèce Nullosetigera mutica - Planche 5 de figures morphologiquesissued from : H.Y. Soh, S. Ohtsuka, H. Imabayashi & H.-L. Suh, 1999, 33. [p.1591, Fig.6];
