Nota: Basipodal segments 1-2 of A2 fused or divided into 3 parts by inconspicuous partitions. Inner marginal seta on exopodal segment 1 of P1-4 with very minute but present in all specimens from the temperate and equatorial Pacific. Olson (1949) and Chen & al. (1974) described female without inner marginal seta on exopodal segment 1 of P1-4 from off California and the East China Sea, respectively.

Nota after Vives & Shmeleva (2010, p.80): Setal formula on outer margin (in first) and inner margin (in second) of exopod segments (from proximal to distal) of P1 to P4:
P1: 1, 1, 2; 1, 1, 4.
P2: 1, 0, 2; 1, 1, 5
P3: 1, 0, 1; 1, 1, 5.
P4: 0, 0, 1; 1, 1, 5.

The size of symbols indicates the relative quantitty of the species.
