Nota: A1 assymmetrical, longer on the right side. Caudal rami are asymmetical, longest on the left.

Species differences in the shape of the anterior portion of the female head in E. hyalinus s.s. and E. spinifer
A: head shape in lateral and ventral views of three individuals of each species.

Seventy-one and thirty-one individuals are included of E. hyalinus and E. spinifer, respectively. Specimens collected at 20 locations, North and South Pacific, Indian Ocean.
