The mean female size is 1.952 mm (n = 5; SD = 0.0795), and the mean male size is 1.910 mm (n = 5; SD = 0.0742). The size ratio (male : female) is about 0.98.
Rem.: The species resembles Candacia longimana.
According to Mulyadi (1997, p.95) the female resembles C. longimana Claus, but is distinguishable from the latter by the presence a pair of small spines on dorsal surface of urosomal somite 1, the form of P5. In the male by the bilobed protrusion on the right side of urosomal somite 1 and the form of P5.
