Nota: 1st inner lobe of Mx1 with 1+9+2 setae, 2nd inner lobe without a seta, 3rd inner lobe with 1 seta; basis with 5 setae, outermost of which smallest; 1st endopodal segment with 2 setae; exopod with 11 setae, proximalmost of which is smallest; outer lobe with 7 subequal setae plus 2 minute setae proximally.

Nota: The urosome segments and furca are in the proportional lengths as 38:23:20:4:15 = 100. Prosome and urosome are in the proportional lengths as 70 to 30.

Rem.: According to Tanaka & Omori (1967, p.246) this species is easily recognized by the short rostrum and the structure of P1 and P2. In P1 the outer terminal spine on the 2nd segment of the exopod is very short.
