Armature formula of swimming legs P1 to P4.
Nota: Swimming legs P1 to P4 biramous, with 3-segmented rami; jointed by intercoxal sclerites in legs 1 to 45.
- P5 incorporated into somite, lacking any free segment; represented by 2 setae on small lobe in both sexes.
- P6 represented by genital operculum armed with 3 setae in female; with 2 setae in male.

- Caudal rami about as long as 3 preceding somites combined .............. Urocopia singularis Sars, 1917.
- Caudal rami about as long as preceding somites plus genital double-somite combined .........Urocopia deeveyae (Boxshall, 1981)
Remarks on dimensions and sex ratio:
The mean female size is 2.56 mm (n = 3; SD = 0.08359) and the mean male size is 1.17 mm (n = 2). The size ratio (male / female) is 0.56 - 0.46, or approximately 50 %. The sex ratio (female / male) is up to date 2/1 in 2014.
