Distribution map of Acartia (Acanthacartia) bacorehuiensis by geographical zones
|
| | | Loc: | | | Gulf of California (lagoon Agiabampo: Sonora, Sinaloa). | | | N: | 3 | | | Lg.: | | | (165) F: 0,11; M: 0,088; {F: 0,11; M: 0,088} | | | Rem.: | Euryhaline and eurytherm. For Zamora-Sanchez & Gomez-Aguirre (1985) the salinities are variable at the mouth of the Agiabampo river from 37,68 to 54,72 p.1000 and the temperatures of 25,8° à 31° C where the specimens were captured all year round. The principal characteristics of this species are compared with those of A. tonsa (p.339).
After checking in the publication of Ma. E. Zamora-Sanchez & S. Gomez-Aguirre (1985-1986), the authors specify the size of the female (114 µm) and of the male (88 µm).
The specimens come from a lagoon of Sonora (Mexico).
Salinity from 37.68 to 42.80 per 1000;
Temperature 26.31 °C;
Dissolved oxygen from 3.12 to 4.43 ml/l. | | | Last update : 21/12/2023 | |
| | | | There are some doubts regarding the size of male and female ( F: 0,11; M: 0,09) indicated in the card. Maybe, there should be F:1,1; M:0,9?
