Female (from S Adriatic Sea): 8, habitus (dorsal); 9, urosome (dorsal); 10-14, P1 to P5. Nota: Head and 1st pedigerous somite fused, 4th and 5th separated. Rostrum bifurcate. Urosome 4-segmented. Genital somite large, its width exceeding much the width of other abdominal somites; spermathecae not large, situated along the margins. Anal somite large, its length equaling the two preceeding somites. Caudal rami movable, almost square, armed with 2 short and lon setae, the latter ones situated at the centre of the caudal ramus and densely haired. P5 rather long, quite symmetrical, consisting of 2 segments( the 1st short, almost square, the second almost 3 times as long as the preceeding), terminal armament consists of 1 seta, not very massive, equaling in length to the segment itself, and a crown of small spinules.
