Female (from Namibia): 1-2, habitus (dorsal and lateral, respectively); 3-6, P1 to P4; 7, P5.

Rem.: epipelagic- ?.
For Andronov (1973, p.1410) this species is close to C. styliremis, but differs from it in a longer cephalothorax, shape of genital segment and spemathecae and absence of internal seta on 1st segments of exopodites P2-P4.
Considered as Atlantic indicador species in the Mediterranean Sea.
