issued from : J. Corral Estrada in Tesis Doct., Univ. Madrid, A-129, Sec. Biologicas, 1970. [Lam.33, figs.3-5]. Female: 3, A1; 4, urosome (ventral); 5, idem (dorsal).

issued from : A.A. Shmeleva in Zool. Zh., 1967, 46 (8). [p.1179, Fig.4]. Female (from Ionian Sea): 1, habitus (dorsal); 2-6, P1 to P5; 7, urosome (dorsal). Nota: Head and 1st pedigerous somite fused, 4th and 5th thoracic somites separated. A1 24-segmented, exceed the body length of 1.5 times; the last segment is fine, 1.7 times longer than the preceding; strong, red, densely feathered setae on the 16th-17th and 22nd-23rd segments. Urosome 2-segmented. genital segment broad with very well developed spermathecae. Anal somite 2 times as broad as long; at the place where the anal somite joints the caudal rami there is a tuft of small fine setae. The length and the width of the caudal rami are approximately the same. P5 slightly asymmetrical, the left leg 3-segmented and a little longer than the right one; the border between the 2nd and 3rd segments indistinct; on the 2nd segment of the right leg there is a small lateral spinule; both legs terminate in long and fine apical setae with a crown of small spinules at their base.
