Calanopia herdmani. Female: 1 - P5 exopod 2-segmented. 2 - Cephalic lateral hooks absent. 3 - P5 symmetrical. 4 - Caudal rami symmetrical. 5 - 2nd exopodal segment of P5 shorter than 1st one. Male: 1 - Left P5 shorter than right one; basis of left P5 not swollen proximally. 2 - Prosomal posterolateral corner symmetrical. 3 - Cephalic lateral hooks absent. 4 - 2nd urosomite symmetrical and without any process. 5 - 2nd exopodal segment of right P5 longer than 1st one, curved at 1/3 its length; basis of left P5 shorter than 1st exopodal segment. 6 - 1st exopodal segment of right P5 shorter than basis, and 3.4 times as long as wide; 2nd exopodal segment of left P5 with 1 lateral spine.
