Male: 14, urosome (dorsal); 15, right A1; 16, P5.

Species Calanopia herdmani - Plate 2 of morphological figuresIssued from : Mulyadi & H. Ueda in Crustaceana, 1996, 69 (7). [p.913, Table I].
Comparative list of characters of Calanopia herdmani A. Scott and C. asymmetrica Mulyadi & Ueda, 1996.
The characters oc C. herdmani are cited from A. Scott (1909). Ur1-Ur5 represent the 1st to 5th urosomal somites, respectively.

Species Calanopia herdmani - Plate 3 of morphological figuresissued from : E.G. Silas & P.P. Pillai in J. mar. biol. Ass. India, 1973 (1976), 15 (2). [p.788, Fig.4].
Female (from Indian Ocean): a, urosome (dorsal); b, rostrum (anterior view); c, urosome (lateral right side); d, P5; e, P5 (enlarged terminal part).
Nota: A. Scott (1909) did not mention the asymmetry of the caudal rami which is distinct in our specimen.

Male: f, right A1 (geniculate part); g, P5.
Scale as in Calanopia minor.

Species Calanopia herdmani - Plate 4 of morphological figuresCalanopia herdmani.
Female:
1 - P5 exopod 2-segmented.
2 - Cephalic lateral hooks absent.
3 - P5 symmetrical.
4 - Caudal rami symmetrical.
5 - 2nd exopodal segment of P5 shorter than 1st one.
Male:
1 - Left P5 shorter than right one; basis of left P5 not swollen proximally.
2 - Prosomal posterolateral corner symmetrical.
3 - Cephalic lateral hooks absent.
4 - 2nd urosomite symmetrical and without any process.
5 - 2nd exopodal segment of right P5 longer than 1st one, curved at 1/3 its length; basis of left P5 shorter than 1st exopodal segment.
6 - 1st exopodal segment of right P5 shorter than basis, and 3.4 times as long as wide; 2nd exopodal segment of left P5 with 1 lateral spine.
