Jones & Park, 1967 (p.243, figs.F,M)
Species Calanopia sewelli - Plate 1 of morphological figuresissued from : E.C. Jones & T.S. Park in Crustaceana, 1967, 12 (3). [p.246, Figs.1-16]. From Marquesas Islands
Female: 1, habitus (dorsal); 2, 4th and 5th thoracic segments and urosome (dorsal); 3, habitus (lateral left side); 4, forehead (lateral); 5, distal part of metasome and urosome (lateral left side); 6, A1; 7, A2; 8, Md; 9, Mx1; 10, Mx2; 11, Mxp; 12, P1; 13, P2; 14, P3; 15, P4; 16, P5.
Nota: Head and 1st thoracic segment separated, 4th and 5th fused (but a line visible in dorsal view). Two small eye spots are visible near the anterior lateral margins of the head. The divergent filaments of the rostrum are visible in dorsal view and prominent in lateral view.

Species Calanopia sewelli - Plate 2 of morphological figuresissued from : E.C. Jones & T.S. Park in Crustaceana, 1967, 12 (3). [p.247, Figs.17-23].
Male: 17, habitus (dorsal); 18, forehead (lateral); 19, distal thoracic segments and urosome (lateral right side); 20, idem (dorsal); 21, right A1; 22, left A1; 23, P5.

Species Calanopia sewelli - Plate 3 of morphological figures
1 - P5 exopod 2-segmented.
2 - Cephalic lateral hooks present.
3 - Genital compound somite nearly as long as 2nd urosomite.
4 - Caudal rami asymmetrical, right one with more concave medial margin; 2nd exopodal segment of P5 longer than first one.
1 - Left P5 shorter than right one; basis of left P5 not swollen proximally.
2 - Prosomal posterolateral corner symmetrical.
3 - Cephalic lateral hooks present.
4 - Caudal rami symmetrical and divergent posteriorly; 2nd exopodal segment of left P5 nearly as long as first one.
5 - 1st exopodal segment of right P5 (chela) with a sharp thumb and 1 small seta on its lateral margin, medial margin of the chela smooth and without any processes; 2nd exopodal segment of left P5 with long terminal spine.
