Bradyidius styliformis  Othman & Greenwood, 1987   (F,M)
Ref.:
Othman & Greenwood, 1987 (p.1133, figs.F,M, Tab.I: comparison with others species).
Species Bradyidius styliformis - Plate 1 of morphological figuresissued from : B.H.R. Othman & J.G. Greenwood in J. Plankton Res., 1987, 9 (6). [p.1134, Fig.1].
Female (from G. of Carpentaria, N Australia): A, habitus (dorsal); B, idem (lateral right side); C, rostrum; D, urosome (dorsal); E, A2; F, Md; G, Mx1.
Nota: Rostrum with 2 divergent broadly acute points, base of rostrum with pair of distinct sensory filaments (which are visible, even from dorsal view, at anterior tip of head. Pair of sensory filaments wisible on dorsal surface of 2nd thoracic somite, another on lateral surface of 3rd thoracic somite. Urosome 4-segmented. Proportions of urosomal somites and caudal rami as 42:13:12:8:25 = 100. A1 24-segmented. A2 exopod 7-segmented; endopod 2-segmented. Mx1basipod with 7 strong and 2 small outer marginal setae; inner margin of basipod 3-lobed, large proximal lobe bears 9 stout spines with 4 submarginal setae, middle lobe with 5 apical setae, distal lobe with 4 apical setae; exopod with 10 setae around outer and apical margin; endopod 2-segmented (1st segment with 5 distal setae, apical segment with 16 setae.

Species Bradyidius styliformis - Plate 2 of morphological figuresissued from : B.H.R. Othman & J.G. Greenwood in J. Plankton Res., 1987, 9 (6). [p.1135, Fig.2].
Female: A, Mx2; B, Mxp; C, P1; D, left P2 (anterior); and right endopod (posterior); E, P3 (posterior); F, left P4 (anterior); and right endopod (posterior).
Nota: Mx2 very weakly segmented; 5 lobes readily distinguished on inner margin, in addition to apical lobe; first 4 lobes each bears 3 strong spinulose setae, the 5th lobe bears a strong dagger-shaped spine plus 2 spinulose setae, apical lobe with 6 setae.

Species Bradyidius styliformis - Plate 3 of morphological figuresissued from : B.H.R. Othman & J.G. Greenwood in J. Plankton Res., 1987, 9 (6). [p.1136, Fig.3].
Male: A, habitus (dorsal); B, idem (lateral right side); C, P1; D, left P2 (anterior), and right endopod (posterior); E, left P3 (anterior), and right endopod (posterior); F, left P4 (anterior); and right endopod (posterior); G, P5; H, terminal segment of right P5; I, same (another view).
Nota: Urosome 5-segmented. proportional lengths of urosomal somites and caudal rami as 15:40:12:15:4:14 = 100. A1 23-segmented, and many aesthetascs near proximal end. P5 uniramous, right P5 5-segmented; 5th segment with 4 filaments each tapering to a fine point, 2 short ones with very fine hairs on their margins and 2 longer ones wiich are smooth.
