Female (from off Chittagong, Bay of Bengal): 1, habitus (dorso-lateral left); 2, A1; 3, P5. Nota: Head and 1st thoracic segment separate, 4 th and 5 th separate. Rostrum, strong and bifid, no rostral lenses present. The back of the head is crossed by a strongly marked groove. Side hooks present. Abdomen 2-segmented, the 2nd small: Proportional lengths of urosomites and furca as 20:6:11. A1 24-segmented (segments 11-12 partially fused), do not reach to the end of the thorax. Mxp with the 2nd segment armed with a row of spines down the margin. Male: 4, urosome; 5, A16; 6, right P5. Nota: Small rostral lenses present. Abdomen 5-segmented, the 3rd is the longest. Proportional lengths of urosomites and furca as 7:5:10:5:5:15.
