Nota: The female is distinguished by almost symmetrical processes of the last thoracic segment, by the presence of a triangular process on the dorsal side of the genital segment in its right part, by lack of a tooth on the dorsal distal margin, by lack of a comb on the 2nd abdominal segment

Female characters (from key, p.959):
- Urosome of 3 somites.
- Endopod of P5 bifurcate distally.
- P5 endopod inner distal spine much larger than outer spine; genital segment with right side ventrolateral, narrow, process which extends to posterior border of urosomal segment 2.

Male characters (from key, p.960):
- Chelate right P5 exopodal segment1-2 with, besides the 'thumb', one large projection in form of broad, obliquely truncate lobe; exopodal segment 3 expanded proximally into broad, obliquely truncate lobe.
