Female (from St. Lawrence: Barbados): 1, habitus (dorsal); 3, rostrum (ventral view); 4, urosome (ventral); 5, caudal ramus (with abnormal seta); 6, A1; 7, A2; 8, P1; 9, P2; 10, P3; 11, P4; 12, P5. Nota: Head and 1st pediger segment not fused (but the separation joint is not a distinct as the other body joints). Rostrum with 2 tiny setae. A1 17-segmented. Caudal rami about as long as broad or in some specimens broader than long. In one specimen, the longest caudal seta is modified into a paddle-shaped appendage.. A2 with basipod 1-segmented, exopod 2-segmented, endopod 3-segmented. Male: 2, habitus (dorsal); 13, P5 (posterior view); 15, P5 (posterior view with spines and claws removed); 16, P5 (anterior view). Nota: In some specimens the joint separating the head from the 1st pediger segment is difficult to see.. Left A1 like those of the female and the right one is geniculate.
