Ridgewayia krishnaswamyi  Ummerkutty, 1963   (F,M)
Ref.:
Ummerkutty, 1963 (p.19, figs.F,M); Humes & Smith, 1974 (p.130, Rem.)
Species Ridgewayia krishnaswamyi - Plate 1 of morphological figuresissued from : A.N.P. Ummerkutty in Bull. Dep. mar. Biol. Oceanogr., 1963, 1. [Pl.I, Figs.10-18].
Female: 10, habitus (dorsal); 12, Mxp; 13, Md (mandibular palp); 14, P1; 15, PP3; 18, urosome and posterior part of prosome (lateral).
Nota: Ratio Prpsome: Urosome as 72:28. Head and 1st pediger segment separate, 4th and 5th separated. Urosome 4-segmented. Genital segment symmetrical. Relative lengths of urosomal segments and caudal rami 44.3:17.1:15.7: 5.8: 17.1 = 100. A1 26-segmented, reaching to posterior end of prosome.

Male: 11, right A1; 16, P5; 17, right P5 (terminal part of exopod, enlarged).
Nota: Right A1 geniculate, 23-segmented; the point of geniculation between 2th and 21th segments; posterior margin of the thirteenth segment is highly shortened, almost to a point, so that the segment is triangular; the 2ith segment carries a row of spinules arranged along its length towards anterior face.

Species Ridgewayia krishnaswamyi - Plate 2 of morphological figuresissued from : A.N.P. Ummerkutty in Bull. Dep. mar. Biol. Oceanogr., 1963, 1. [Pl.II, Figs.1-7].
Female: A1; 3, P5; 4, P2 (endopod missing); 5, urosome (ventral); 6, A2; 7, Mx2.
Nota: Length of the spine on inner distal margin of terminal exopodal segment of P5 almost double the length of the terminal spine (feature characteristic in this species).

Male: 2, habitus (dorsal).
Nota: Proportional lengths of urosomal segments and caudal rami 17.75: 23: 17.75:17.75:6: 17.75 = 100
