Female (from Bay of Alger): 20, habitus (lateral right side and dorsal, respectively; R, rostrum; Ur, urosome (dorsal).
Nota: 4th and 5th thoracic segments fused.

Female: 21, A1, antennule; A2, antennula; Mxp1, Maxilla; Mxp2, maxilliped. 22, swimming legs from P1 to P5.
Nota: A1 20-segmented with indistinct segmentation of 1st segment. Rostrum small with 2 long filaments. A2 with endopod shorter than exopod. P5 esemble Scolecithrix longipes Giesbrecht (189, Taf.13, fig.30).

Rem.: meso-bathypelagic. ? Cf. Scolecithricella farrani. The genus of this species remains to be determined.
This species resemble Scolecithrix longipes Giesbrecht1,1892, and may be a synonym.
