Male: a, forehead (lateral); b, last thoracic segments with P5 and urosome (lateral right side); c, rostrum (anterior); d, Mxp; e, P1 (anterior); f, P2 (posterior); g, P3 (posterior); h, P4 (posterior); i, P5 (right side); j, P5 (left side). The present males seem closely related to the S. propinqua as described by Tanaka (1962) but seem to differ from it in the size of the 1st exopodal spines of P2 and P3 and in the size of the 3rd exopodal segment and its distal seta of right P5.
