Park in Antarct. Res. Ser. Washington, 1980, 31 (2). [p.64, Fig.20]. As Scolecithricella hadrosoma. Female: a, forehead (lateral); b, last thoracic segments and urosome (lateral left side); c, genital segment (lateral left side); d, rostrum (anterior); e, A2; f, Md; g, Mx1; h, distal part of Mx2; i, Mxp; j, P1 (anterior); k, P2 (posterior); l, P3 (posterior); m, P5 (posterior). Nota: Female similar in all morphological details to Pseudoamallothrix emarginata except characters fillowing: Body consierably larger; articulation suture between 4th and 5th metasomal segments almost complete, extending from dorsal side close to ventral edge; viewed laterally, genital field (fig.20c) only slightly produced, so that ventral margin of genital segment posterior to genital opening almost straight (instead of curved as in S. emarginata); distal sac of spermathecal vesicle fully inflated into a large ball; distalspine of P5 lamost 2/3 as long as internal spine; distal segment of P5 without trace of partial division (by a short line found in P. emarginata.
