Female (from 43°52'N, 149°49'E): 1, habitus (lateral); 2, forehead (lateral); 3, rostrum (frontal view); 4-6, last thoracic segments and urosome (right side, left side, ventral, respectively); 7, genital segment and urosomite 2 (ventral); 8, Mx2; 9, P5.

After Vyshkvartseva (1989 a, p.38) the genus is well distinguished from the other genera of the Scolecitrichidae by its specific posterior angle spines of the cephalothorax, peculiar shape of the rostrum and P5. Sampling depth: 5628 m.
