Ref.:
Park, 1980 (p.75, Descr.M, figs.M)
Species Scolecithricella sp.3 - Plate 1 of morphological figuresIssued from : T. Park in Biomogy of the Antarctic Seas IX. Antactic Res. Ser., 1980, 31 (2). [p.76, Fig.27).
Male (from 44°37\"S, 172°58'W): a, forehead (lateral); b, posterior part of prosome with P5 and urosome (lateral); c, Md; d, Mx1; e, Mx2; f, distal part of Mx2; g, coxa of Mxp; h, P1 (anterior); i, left P5 (posterior); j, P5 (right side).

Nota: - Mx1 with 2 posterior and 10 distal setae on 1st inner lobe, 2 setae on second and 3 setae on third; 3 setae on basis; 2 + 5 setae on endopod, 9 setae on exopod, and 9 setae on outer lobe. Setae on 3rd inner lobe and basis greatly reduced.
- Mx2 with same number of setae and sensory filaments as in S. dentipes (= Amallothrix dentipes), but setae poorly developed.

NZ: 1

Distribution map of Scolecithricella sp.3 by geographical zones
Loc:
SW Pacif. (off E Chatham Is.)
N: 1
Lg.:
(523) M: 3,8; {M: 3,80}
Rem.: Probable in the Genus Amallothrix.
After Park (1980, p.77) this male is not assigned to any groups as S. dentipes (= Amallothrix dentipes) Group, because the Md has no conical process on the basis, the setae on the 3rd inner lobe and the basis of the Mx1 are greatly reduced, and the setae on the maxillary lobes are only weakly developed.
