Distribution map of Xanthocalanus hispidus by geographical zones
Loc:
W Indian (29°38'S, 49°23'E), Barents Sea (in Dvoretsky & Dvoretsky, 2010)
N: 2
Lg.:
(67) F: 1; {F: 1,00}
Rem.: Bathypelagic.
Genus : ? : "Xanthocalanus" hispidus.
Possible in Undinella.
For Grice & Hulsemann (1967, p.25) this species resembles X. paraincertus.
The occurrence noted in the north and northeast Barents Sea is surprising.
