Remarks

bathypelagic (1465-1500 m), hyperbenthic.
This species resembles Neoscolecithrix koehleri Canu, 1896.
According to Campaner (1978 a, p.968) Xanthocalanus watersae (Grice, 1972) , from the structure of the P5, the species must be removed to the genus Neoscolecithrix.
