Male (from 39°45.2'N, 70°33.8W): 215-216, habitus (dorsal and lateral, respectively); 217, left A1; 215, Mx2; 219, Mxp; 220, P1; 221, P2; 222, terminal spine of P2; 223, P3; 224, P4; 225, P5 (anterior view); 226, distal portion of P5 (posterior view); 227, exopod of left P5. Nota: - Head and 1st thoracic segment fused, 4th and 5th fused. - Abdomen 5-segmented, anal segment very small. - Rostrum absent. - Posterolateral corner of thorax truncate. - Right A1 22-segmented, segments 8-10, 20-21 fused. Left A1 23-segmented, segments 8-10 fused. Aesthetascs numerous proximally on both A1. - Endopod of A2 about 1/2 the length of exopod. - 1st inner lobe (= arthrite) large; 2 and 5 setae on 2nd (= coxal endite) and 3rd (= basal endite) inner lobes, respectively; 3 setae on 2nd basal segment; 6 setae on endopod; 2 setae on exopod; and 7 setae on 1st outer lobe (= basal exite). - Mx2 with 5 lobes arising distally. 2nd segment of Mxp somewhat swollen. - Exopods of P1 to P4 3-segmented. Endopod of P1 1-segmented, of P2 2-segmented, of P3 and P4 3-segmented. - Scattered spines on distal exopodal and endopodal segments of P2 and P3. - Right P5 uniramous, 2-segmented; proximal segment twice the length of distal segment. Endopod of left P5 elongate, reaching beyond end of right leg.; exopod 3-segmented, distal segment with conspicuous lamella.
