Female (from Laguna Coyuca, W Mexico): a, P5 and genital segment (ventral), anal segment and caudal rami (dorsal); b, Md. Nota: Ratio cephalothorax and thoracic segment 5: abdomen + caudal rami 1.63:1. Rostrum absent. Caudal rami strongly diverging. A1 14-segmented (any segments more or less indisticct). Formula of the outer spines spines of exopod P1 to P4: 1-1-3; 1-1-3; 1-1-2; 1-1-2, respectively; setae of exopod of P1 to P4: 0-1-5; 0-1-5; 0,-1-5; 0-1-5, respectively; setae of endopod of P1 to P4: 1-1-6; 1-2-6; 1-2-6; 1-2-5, respectively. P5 with 2 setae of unequal length.P6 like a strong spine, curved on the ventral face. Male: Caudal rami 2 times length than wide. P6 as a short spine.
