Sewell (1947, p.254, female) notes: The proportional lengths of the postrior region (Th5 to caudal rami) as 15:31:15:15:14:10 = 100. The outer caudal seta is twice the lenth of the caudal ramus. Our specimens differ from Farran in that the terminal endopodal segment of P1 bears 6 inner setae and 1 outer seta (he,however, shows 7 setae in all in his figure); a small very delicate seta is present on the inner margin of the 1st exopodal segment of P1 in these examples.
