Nota: P1-P4 setae formula (from outer setae and inner setae). P1: 1,1,2; 1,1,4. P2: 1,1,3; 1,1,5. P3: 1,0,2; 1,1,5. P4: 0,0,1; 1,1,5.
Outer seta of Exopod 3 of P4 about as long as the terminal seta.
Prosome 2.7 times as long as wide. Prosome length/urosome length = 1.13.
A1 extending to the distal margin of genital segment.

Rem.: For Nishida & al. (1977) this species is closely related to Oithona plumifera, but it can distinguished from the latter species by the shape of rostrum and the P2-P4 setae formulae.
