Nota: The male resembles the female in general characteristics (shape of body, rostrum, length of caudal setae). P5 is 2-segmented; the 1st segment is incompletely separated from basipod 2 and there is a long seta on the outer margin which probably actually is a structure of the basipod; a stout serrated spine emerges from the outer distal corner of the 1st segment, the 2nd segment bears 4 serrated spines (2 on the outer margin and 2 terminal, of inequal length) and 2 internal setae.
