| | | | | | Ref.: | | | Suarez-Morales & Palomares-Garcia, 1999 (p.190, Descr.F, figs.F); Suarez-Morales, 2002 (p.95: tab.1); Üstün & al., 2014 (p.1402, 1407 Table I) | Issued from : E. Suarez-Morales & R. Palomares-Garcia in Proc. Biol. Soc. Washington, 1999, 112 (1). [p.192, Fig.2]. Female (from 24.69°N; 112.07°W): A-B, habitus (lateral and dorsal, respectively); C, ovigerous spine. Nota: - Cephalothorax (incorporating 1st pedigerous somite) accounting for almost 65% of total body length (caudal rami excluded). - Oral papilla lying midventrally 0.21 of way back along cephalothorax. - Nauplius eye present, weakly developed, ocelli slightly pigmented with rounded shape - A1 4-segmented; ratio of lengths of segments 11.3 : 23.1 : 14.3 : 51.3 = 100. A1 slightly longer than 17.5% of total body length (caudal rami excluded), and 25.5% of cephalothorax length. - P5 joined medially; each with rounded endopodal lobe; exopodal lobe 2 times longer than wide, with 2 long, equal plumose setae, and 1 short inner, plumose seta, about 28% as long as the other two. - Urosome consisting of 5th pedigerous somite, genital double-somite, 1 free abdominal (anal) somite, and caudal rami, altogether representing 14.3% of total body length. - Genital double-somite slightly longer than 1/3 total length of urosome (35%) - Ratio of lengths of 5th pedigerous somite, genital double-somite, and free abdominal somite 37.5 : 35.5 : 26.6 = 100. - Ovigerous spines about 1.4 times total body length. - Caudal rami short, 1.2 times longer than wide, moderately divergent, bearing 3 strong, terminal setae, middle seta slightly thicker than others.
