Suarez-Morales in Beaufortia, 1996, 46 (6). [p.98, Fig.1]. Male (from Caldera Bay, Philippines): A-B, habitus (dorsal and lateral, respectively). Scale bar in mm. Nota: Cephalothorax representing slightly more than 47 % of total body length. Oral papilla located 35 % of way back along ventral surface of cephalothorax. Anterior margin of forehead slightly rounded. Ocelli present, pigment cups small and widely separated, poorly developed, almost unpigmented, round in dorsal view. Except for some scars, pores (not all paired, and mainly on the dorsal surface of the 2nd and 4th toracic somites) and faint scattered ridges, no cuticular ornamentation. head and 1st pedigerous somite fused. P5 absent. urosome consisting of 4 segments (5th pedigerous somite, without appendages, genital somite and 2 free somites; ratio of lengths of genital double-somite and following two free somites 39.3:21.4:39.3 = 100

Nota: A1 4-segmented (but with constriction on proximal third of 2nd segment , representing partial intersegmental division, relatively short, representing almost 29 % of total body length, and about 64 % as long as cephalothorax.

issued from : E. Suarez-Morales in Beaufortia, 1996, 46 (6). [p.102, Fig.3].br>Male: A, P1 (posterior view); B, P2 (posterior); C, P3 (posterior); D, P4 (anterior view); E, genital complex, genital lappets (ventral); F, anal somite (dorsal). Scales in mm. Pair of digitiform genital lappets present on genital somite, both strongly divergent, serrated along posterior margin, and reaching almost half way along anal somite. Anal somite with a constriction (or suture) aound the middle of the segment (which partly divides it into two distinct somites). Caudal rami nearly quadrate, approximately 1.5 times longer than wide, bearing 3 terminal setae, innermost being slightly longer and wider than median and outer ones, the latter being thinner than the median seta.
