Distribution map of Cymbasoma rostratum by geographical zones
|
| | | Loc: | | | Shetland Is., W Ireland | | | N: | 3 | | | Lg.: | | | (727) F: 3,9; {F: 3,90} | | | Rem.: | Isaac (1975) suggests that Thaumaleus similirostratus could be the male of this species. After Grygier & Suarez-Morales (2018, p499) it is possible that the specimen from the Lundy Island area ( off Bristol Channel) from Issac, 1974 as Thaumaleus similirostratus (= Cymbasoma similirostratum) is the male of this species, and proposed to maintain the appellation similirostratum (Isaac, 1974) for this species.
