Monstrilla grygieri Suarez-Morales, 2000 (F) | |
| | | | | | Ref.: | | | Suarez-Morales, 2000 b (p.680, Descr.F, figs.F); 2011 (p.9) | issued from : E. Suarez-Morales in J. Crustacean Biol., 2000, 20 (4). [p.681, Fig.1]. Female (from Caldera Bay, Sulu Sea): A, habitus (lateral); B-C, head (dorsal and ventral, respectively); D, P1; E, P2; F, hind leg showing outer distal exopod seta; G, P4. Setae of legs are cut short. Nota: Cephalothorax representing slightly more than 57 % of total body length. Oral papilla located almost 60 % of way back along ventral surface o cephalothorax. Anterior margin of forehead concave in middle, with 2 short sensilla. Ocelli present, weakly developed, pigment cups very small, separated by the length of 23.5 eye diameters, poorly developed, almost unpigmented, oval in dorsal view. Except for some scars on dorsal surface, no cuticular ornamentation.

issued from : E. Suarez-Morales in J. Crustacean Biol., 2000, 20 (4). [p.682, Fig.2]. Female: A, left A1 (dorsal, showing setal nomenclature); B, right A1 (dorsal); C, habitus (dorsal); D, urosome (dorsal); E, P5 (ventral). Nota: A1 length very long, equal to almost 42 % of length of cephalothorax; only 1st segment distinctly separated, remaining segments fused, with constrictions representing places of intersegmental divisions (total: 5-segmented pattern); 3 dichotomously branched setae on outer margin of distal portion of A1. Head and 1st pedigerous thoracic somite incorporated. P5 bilobed, outer lobe about 2.5 times longer than inner one, with 2 long subequal setae; inner lobe with 2 setae. Urosome 4-segmented (5th pedigerous somite, genital double-somite with incomplete intersegmental division visible in dorsal view) and 2 free somites). Ratio of lengths of genital somite and following 2 somites 59.5:23.8:16.6 = 100. Caudal rami about 1.3 times as long as combined length of last 2 urosomites; approximatively 2 times as long as wide, bearing 6 well-developed setae (2 distal, 3 lateral, 1 inserted distally on dorsal surface).
