Male (from Bahia de la Ascension, Yucatan): a-b, habitus (dorsal and lateral, respectively); c, urosome (dorsal); d, right P2 (posterior view); e, left P3 (posterior); f, left P1 (posterior); g, left P4 (posterior); h, genital apparatus (lateral); i, idem (ventral); j, A1 (dorsal). All scales in mm. Nota: Cephalothorx almost half length of whole body. Oral papilla located 0.28 from the anterior margin of the cephalothorax. One dorsal pair of small eyes. A1 5-segmented; ratio of length segments 25:30:13.2:19.3:12.5 = 100.; A1 slightly about 0.38 total length of body and 0.67 length of cephalothorax.P5 absent. Urrosome consisting of 5th pedigerous somite, genital double somite and 2 free abdominal somites; length ratio 30.9:24.6:16.5:18.2:9.8 = 100. Caudal rami 1.1 times wider than long, each bearing 6 setae (5 subequal in length, 1 shorter and located next to medialmost seta. Nota: The lack of P5 separates this species from most Monstrilla species.
