Distribution map of Gaetanus paracurvicornis by geographical zones
|
| | | | | | Loc: | | | Antarct. (Indian), off SW Ireland, Kuril-Kamchatka, Japan (NE), Station Knot, Aleutian Trench, Chile.
Type locality: NW Pacific (Kuril Trench) | | | N: | 6 | | | Lg.: | | | (22) juv.F5: 4,6; juv.M5: 4,1; (37) F: 5,1-4,6; {F: 4,60-5,10} | | | Rem.: | bathy & abyssopelagic. Sampling depth (Antarct.) : 3000-5000 m. For Brodsky (1967, p.168) this species resembles G. secundus Esterly in the form of the frontal spine and the length of the thoracic spines; it differs in its much shorter A1. | | | Last update : 05/01/2015 | |
