Species Corycaeus (Ditrichocorycaeus) tenuis - Plate 4 of morphological figures[B & H] Female: Posterior lateral angles of 3rd pedigerous somite produced into acute spinous processes extending posteriorly to about 1/3 length of genital double-somite. Anal somite twice as long as width at base.

[V & S] Female: Posterior points of thoracic segment 3, in dorsal view, not reaching half genital segment.Basipodite 2 of P4 with the 2 setae divergent. Genital segment plus anal segment longer than caudal rami. Basipodite 2 of A2 with 1 tooth on the inner distal margin.
