Species Jaschnovia brevis - Plate 1 of morphological figuresissued from : E.L. Markhaseva in Proc. Zool. Inst. RAN, St. Petersburg, 1996, 268. [p.227, Fig.179].
Female (from Markhaseva, 1980). Gn: genital segment (ventral view).

Nota: Posterior corners of last thoracic segment rounded.
A1 nearly as long as cephalothorax, or reaching thoracic segment 3.

Species Jaschnovia brevis - Plate 2 of morphological figuresissued from : E.L. Markhaseva in Proc. Zool. Inst. RAN, St. Petersburg, 1996, 268. [p.228, Fig.180].
Male (from Markhaseva, 1980).

Nota: Posterior corners of last thoracic segment rounded, not curved externally (dorsal view).
A1 reaching the midlength of genital segment.
P1-P4 as in females, only P4 surface setation weaker.

Species Jaschnovia brevis - Plate 3 of morphological figuresissued from : M.W. Johnson in Limnol. and Oceanogr., 1963, 8 (1). [p.95, Fig.3]. As Derjuginia tolli.
Female (from Polar basin): 7, posterior portion of the bedy with attached spermatophore (lateral); 8, Mx2; 11, P1.
Nota: The specimens differ from tolli in that the female genital segment is much longer and is swollen ventrally, and the 5th thoracic segment is smoothly rounded, not pointed

Male: 9, right P5; 10, left P5.

Nota: The 5th thoracic segment is smooth and bears no spines. The Mx2 bears 3 setae with unusual comb-like processes.

Species Jaschnovia brevis - Plate 4 of morphological figuresissued from : E.L. Markhaseva in issled. Fauny Morei, 1980, XXV (XXXIII). [p.69, Fig.3]. As Jaschnovia johnsoni.
Female (from central Arctic Basin): 1-2, habitus (dorsal and lateral, respectively); 3-4, posterior prosome and urosome (dorsal and left lateral, respectively); 5, genital somite (ventral); 6, A1; 7, A2; 8, Md; 9, Mx1; 10, Mx2; 11, Mxp (protopodite and basis); 12,P1; 13, P4.

Species Jaschnovia brevis - Plate 5 of morphological figuresissued from : E.L. Markhaseva in issled. Fauny Morei, 1980, XXV (XXXIII). [p.70, Fig.4].
Male: 1-2, habitus (dorsal and lateral, respectively); 3-4, posterior prosome and urosome (dorsal and right lateral, respectively).

Species Jaschnovia brevis - Plate 6 of morphological figuresIssued from : V.N. Andronov in Russian Acad. Sci. P.P. Shirshov Inst. Oceanol. Atlantic Branch, Kaliningrad, 2014. [p.85, Fig.22: 13]. Jaschnovia brevis after Markhaseva, 1996.
Male P5.
