Rem.: For Boxshall (1979, p.246) this species differs from H. alatus primarily in the position of the lateral spine on the distal segment of A2, the degree of expansion of the epimeral plates of free thoracic somites 2 and 3 and the possession of 3 outer margin spines on exopod segment 3 of P2.
