Female (from N Levantine Basin): 1, habitus (dorsal); 2, urosome (materal, left side); 3, habitus (larteral); 4, A1; 5, A2; 6, Md; 7, Mx1; 8, Mx2; 9, Mxp; 10, rostrum; 11, P1; 12, P2; 13, P3; 14, P4; 15, P5. Nota: 5th thoracic segment with symmetrical acuminate spines, inclined a little outward. Ratio urosomites segments and caudal rami 50:29:21 = 100. Genital somite lacking ventral spine, distinctly evolved laterally, slightly protuberant and genital operculum rosette-shaped. Caudal rami symmetrical, 2-times as long as wide. P5 slightly asymmetrical, last segment having 4 short spines resembling well-developed finger-like projections. Male: 16, habitus (dorsal); 17, idem (lateral); 18, urosome (dorsal); 19, rostrum; 20, A1; 21, P5.

Calanopia metu Female: 1 - P5 exopod 1-segmented. 2 - Exopod of P5 with 4 spines. 3 - Exopod of P5 with 4 small finger like spines.
