Species Archidiaptomus aroorus - Plate 1 of morphological figuresissued from : M. Madhupratap & P. Haridas in Crustaceana, 1978, 35 (3). [p.254, Figs.1-9].
Female (from 9°58'N, 76°15'E): 1, habitus (dorsal); 2, urosome (dorsal); 3, genital segment (lateral); 4, A1; 8, A2; 9, Md.

Nota:
- Prosome about twice the length of urosome.
- Urosome 4-segmented; relative lengths of urosomal segments and caudal rami 13.8 : 5 : 6. 4 : 4 : 7.5.
- Caudal rami more than twice as long as wide, middle seta the longest.
- Genital segment slightly longer than wide, projecting ventrally and having on the anteolateral sides a pair of small lobes, each with a row of small spines, distally on the dorsal side it bears 3 rows of spinules, incomplete in the middle, and 2 pairs of bristles on the lateral sides.
- A pair of small spines is present on the 2nd urosomal segment.
- A1 24-segmented, extending to the end of the genital segment.

Male: 5, habitus (dorsal); 6, urosome (dorsal); 7, A1.

Nota:
- Urosome 5-segmented; relative lengths of urosomal segments and caudal rami 6.5 : 6 : 5.3 : 5 : 4.3 : 5.5.
- Right A1 geniculate, 20-segmented, segments 7 to 12 and 17 with 1 spine each.
- A2 to P4 as in female.
