Pseudodiaptomus nankauriensis  Roy, 1977   (F)
Ref.:
Roy, 1977 (p.100, figs.F)
Species Pseudodiaptomus nankauriensis - Plate 1 of morphological figuresissued from : T. Roy inProc. Symp. Warm Water Zoopl., Goa, India, 1977. [p.101, Fig.1];
Female (from Nankauri Bay: Nicobar Island): a, habitus (dorsal); b, A1; c, last thoracic segment and urosome;d, P5; e, same (claw with spine enlarged); f, Md; g, endopod of A2; h, Mx2; i, Mx1 (outer lobe).
Nota: A1 22-segmented (segments 2 and 3 fused); tip bears unequal setae fringed with fine setules.
Body with 5 imperfect divisions of prosome; urosome 4-segmented.
Proportional length of cephalothorax and urosome: 64 : 36.
Wings of the last metasomal segment asymmetrical; each wiing bears 2 strong spines pointing downwards.
Mid region of the dorsal surface of the genital segment possesses 2 unequal spines, one is large and serrated, the other is small and naked; outer margin of the genital segment finely ciliated.
A group of small spines present on both sides of the dorso-lateral corners of the distal region of the 2nd and 3rd urosomal segments.
Proportional lengths of urosomal segments (caudal rami included) 32 : 16 : 18 : 10: 24 = 100.
Caudal rami symmetrical; each ramus bears 6 unequal setae ( inner seta naked and smallest).
Md: palp with basal part rather broad; endopod well developed and little larger than the exopod.

Distribution map of Pseudodiaptomus nankauriensis by geographical zones
Loc:
Indian (Nicobar Is.: Nankauri Bay)
N: 2
Lg.:
(476) F: 1,27; {F: 1,27}
Rem.: coastal.
Incomplete data.
For Roy (1977, p.103) this species differs from all the species of the genus from Indian Ocean in the structure of P5 and in the shape and structure of the genital segment.
Unassigned species group, but probably in Hyalinus group, after Walter & al., 2006 (p.203).
