Female (from Manipa Strait): 12, habitus (dorsal); 13, forehead (lateral); 14, last thoracic and genital segments (left side); 15, rostrum; 16, A1; 17, A2; 18, Mxp; 19, P1; 20, P4 (basal portion only). Nota: Head and 1st thoracic segment separate, 4th and 5th separate. Forehead without crest. The last thoracic segment is produced into small spines, when viewed laterally, pointed slightly upward. Genital segment slightly asymmetrical, more swollen on the right side than on the left. Caudal rami about as long as broad, as long as the anal segment. The whole of the dorsolateral surface of the abdominal segments and caudal rami, covered with short hairs. A1 24-segmented, reaching the end of the caudal rami. Apical exopodal segment of A2 with 8 + 7 setae.

Nota from the key: 1 - Genital segment slightly asymmetrical. 2 - Thoracic posterior corners not prolonged into triangular lobes, ending with spines. 3 - Spines on thoracic posterior corners upturned (lateral view). Complement Female after Markhaseva (1996, p.260): Cephalothorax 3.0-3.5 times longer than urosome. Posterior corners of last thoracic segment prolonged into moderate spines upturned to the back side lateral view), slightly asymmetrical. Genital segment slightly asymmetrical; more swollen on the right side. Urosomal segments 1-3 surface with hairs. A1 reaching the end of body. Exopodite of P1 indistinctly 3-segmented. Endopodite of P2 indistinctly 2-segmented. Coxopodite of P4 with 7-9 spines.
