Paramisophria sp.2 Tanaka, 1966 (F) | |
| | | | | | Syn.: | Paramisophria cluthae : Tanaka, 1966 (p.45, Descr.F, figs.F) | issued from : O. Tanaka in Proceedings Symposium on Crustacea. Symp. Ser. mar. biol. Ass. India, 1966, (2) 1. [p.46, Fig.5]; As Paramisophria cluthae. Female (from NW Kyushu, Japan): a, habitus (dorsal); b, forehead (lateral); c, last thoracic segment and urosome (lateral left side); d, furcal rami (dorsal); e, A1; f, A2; g, Md; h, Mx1; i, Mx2; j, Mxp; k, P1; P1; l, P2; m, P4; n, P5. Nota: Head and 1st thoracic segment separated, 4th and 5th fused. The frontal margin of the head obtusely roundedin lateral aspect. Cephalothorax cosiderably vaulted, the dorsal surface of the thoracic segments forms an even curve to the rostral prpeminence; distal margin of the 2nd and 3rd thoracic segments is furnished, beside a normal line of demarcation, with another line arising from the normal line when viewed from the dorsal aspect; the last thoracic segment symmetrical with rounded lateral corner. Rostrum composed of 2 small filaments. The urosome segments and furca are in the proportional lengths as 31:23:17:6:23 = 100. Genital segment about as long as wide. A1 is 21-jointed reaching the distal 1/3 of the head. A2: exopod much larger than endopod (comm. pers. from Tanaka) . Md endopod represented by a small knob furnished with a long seta. Mx1 reduced, exopod with 3 setae on the apex, endopod with 2 small setae on the apex. Mx2 strong. Mxp elongated,1st and 2nd basal segments are each furnished with a tuft of hairs on the inner proximal margin. P5 symmetrical; exopod 1-segmented longer and furnished with 3 apical spines of which the outer one is much longer than the inner, the outer margin of the segment carries 3 spines; endopod 1-segmented terminates in a small spine and has a fairly long seta at the base of the spine.
